i return unto the peace

i return unto the peace
from whence i came

my body does not carry me here
i depart by volition
borne by spirit

i speak with God
who speaks to me
though not as a man

eternal energies flow through me
charging my spirit, my thoughts
my soul, with goodnesses

i do not look at myself here
neither do i see God
my eyes are of no consequence

my tongue cannot express
the glories i find
in articulate speech

i depart satisfied
strengthened, thankful
